WORSHIP & ARTS MINISTRY AUDITIONS

citylife church is a place where we encourage our members and attendees to use their gifts, talents, and abilities to increase the Kingdom of God and bring glory to His name. We are currently looking for vocalists and instrumentalists to serve in worship teams across our campuses. We are looking for musicians who:

Have a heart for worship and a desire to serve.
Can demonstrate vocal or instrumental proficiency.
Have active attendance with citylife church.
Have completed all the steps of the Audition process.

The Audition process is a video submission and completing our online application. The video will allow you to give your best first impression since you will have the opportunity to correct any mistakes and perform without the pressure of an audience! To submit a video:

Record a video of yourself singing or playing a song following the instructions on the form. The video should effectively demonstrate your skill level in your voice or instrument. Acapella singing is recommended for vocal submissions.
You can upload the video on the form or paste the link in the appropriate box on the application.

Our desire at citylife church is to usher people into the awesome presence of our Holy Father. In searching for volunteers to help us with this vision, we realize that there must be a balance between a person’s heart/character and giftedness. We are looking for a healthy balance of both. We are not looking for professionals; however, we do want to uphold a level of excellence that is a part of our church’s Core Values. That level of excellence is determined in a group setting of accountability within our Worship Team.

Regardless of the outcome of the audition, we want you to be able to continue on with us in worship services free from any spirit of offense. Remember that God is more interested in our character than He is with our giftedness. John 4:23-24 says that God is seeking “true worshippers” who will worship Him “in Spirit and in Truth.” That is truly our passion at citylife church, and we realize that someone can be a “true worshipper” whether they are on the platform or in the congregation.
